If you have ever played the video game called Pac-Man then you can probably recall the sound it makes every time he eats a pellet...it kinda sounds like "I Want, I Want, I Want, I Want....". Sadly, this is what a lot of my prayers can sound like as well if I neglect to recognize the way that Jesus taught us to pray. An exploration of the "Lord's Prayer" is simultaneously very encouraging and very convicting. We are reminded that it really isn't all about us...it's about the Holy Creator of the universe who has adopted us as his children. It's about honoring His name. It's about desiring to see His kingdom come and His will be done. When we approach prayer in that way it changes our hearts and perspective and minimizes all of the "I Want, I Want, I Want, I Want..."
