It has been said that time waits for no one.  I find this as a realistic quote, as I deal with family matters, being bombarded with work, church commitments, as well as other life events. Typically, I tend to be the last one to go to bed and the first one to rise just to get the troops prepared for the day’s activities.   A lack of rest may not be considered a healthy lifestyle especially when time is expected to change very soon. The second Sunday in March usually signals a change in TIME as people begin to advance their clocks an hour forward.  For many, that signals a loss of sleep, some may see it as a period to start cleaning, yet others may view it as a new beginning in life.

Have you noticed recently it seems to take a little more TIME for the sun to set in the evening?

It’s drawing closer to “daylight savings TIME.”  However in this case, the clocks are set one hour ahead.

Some people may welcome this concept, while others may view it as a loss of TIME.

One hour of lost TIME may become significant when 24 hours does not seem like enough.  I already feel deprived of proper rest.  The human body has to adjust to another new period.  Perhaps a physical change in TIME is a necessity in our lives.

Perhaps this change of TIME may signal “spring cleaning as a deeper cleaning.” I begin to organize clothes with the anticipation of wearing a particular outfit after having to endure extra workouts and skipping a few treats during the winter months. (LOL).   As I focus on cleaning the outward appearances, I must remember to prepare internally by maintaining a fresh spirit willing to know and do GOD’s will.  It’s TIME for me to examine me.  My physical appearance does not matter to become a servant of GOD.  There is proof as I read I Samuel 16:7…for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” I am reminded what GOD informs us in Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O GOD; and renew a right spirit within me.

As TIME takes on a new shift lunging forward, I will embrace the moment with a willing attitude because spring offers a new start, just as GOD offers everyone a transformation through CHRIST as I read in Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is good, acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD.” It’s TIME to be ready to accept another phase in life’s journey as GOD has paved the way.  In the third chapter of Ecclesiastes beginning with the first verse it discusses the many purposes of TIME.

As March has us spring forward with a change in TIME, there comes a question of what is it really TIME for?
