Due to Hurricane Irene and her arrival in the Philly area on Sunday morning we have decided to cancel church services on Sunday August 28th and provide this video for you to watch along with your family on Sunday morning so that you can do church together even though our entire church is unable to meet together as one.  In addition to watching this brief message we would encourage you to spend time praying together, worshipping, and possibly even taking communion together.  Use this as an opportunity to worship God and display to your family that our relationship with God is the top priority no matter what is going on around us.

Additionally, we would encourage you to remain faithful in your giving to God through our church when we meet back up next week or by using our safe and easy Online Giving page right here on the website.

Lastly, our church supports disaster relief through our regular giving to the Southern Baptist Convention - but if you feel led to make a personal contribution towards disater recovery related to Hurricane Irene you can do so by noting "Hurricane Irene Relief" in the memo line of your check or by giving directly to the North American Mission Board here.

Thanks & God Bless!  We pray that you are all safe, warm & dry at home throughout the storm...

Thanks for the message. I appreciated the history lesson. Knowing Laodicea's situation explains the hot and the cold, the eye salve and the while linen. I value these insights since it helps me know that God is aware of what they went through and is concerned about what my family and I are going through.
On a different note my plans had to change due to family and work conditions. I still hope to visit with my wife, I just do not know when.
